SKB originally tapped their PawPaw Wheat Ale on Black Wednesday.  And, now, they’ve tapped another keg of PawPaw Wheat Ale on “The Wednesday After.”

So, PawPaw is not just a catchy name.  It’s actually a fruit grown in the Midwest.  Imagine putting a banana and a mango in a blender … you’ve got a PawPaw.  And PawPaw to a wheat beer, and you’ve got a taste glass of goodness.

The PawPaw is rare, as is they are a very delicate fruit that is only ripe for a short amount of time.  Thank goodness that the Slaytons picked several of them to make this gem of a beer.
