This Saturday (September 28), Pollyanna Brewing Company’s Lemont location is celebrating their Fifth Anniversary. And, how are they celebrating? They’re dropping three beers on us.
Their aptly-named Fifth Anniversary Lager is a German-style Kellerbier. Crisp, light, and easy drinking – you will want to get this one fresh. Kellerbier translates into “Cellar Beer,” which refers to the cool lagering temperatures. This beer also forgoes filtration, which is commonly seen in the style.
Pollyanna’s Personal Chain Letter is amazing, and as part of their celebration, they will be releasing Bourbon Barrel Aged Personal Chain Letter with Vanilla Bean. They pack in the vanilla, and you definitely taste it. Not only that, just imagine the flavor of this beer after being aged for 10 months in Four Roses Bourbon Barrels. This one packs a mighty punch – 11.0% ABV.
Beer number 3 is Triple Gap, a variant of the popular Lexical Gap. This is an India Pale Ale
And, this Saturday is more than just beer. Stix & Noodles food truck will be on site from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Michael Hayes will be performing live at the brewery from 1:00pm to 4:00pm as well.
The fun starts at noon! You can get more information by visiting the Facebook event page at https://www.facebook.com/events/2383473578369093/.
