Oh my God, I love everything dreamsicle.  And, when I saw this image in my Facebook feed – I stopped in my tracks.

Speaking of tracks, for those of you who don’t know … MyGrain Brewing Company is the brewery in Joliet located in the old Union Station Building … you know, next to train tracks.  It’s Friday, I struggled for a segue I haven’t used before.

MyGrain’s Lulupin City is a Milkshake IPA, that has seen different variants.  Their Strawberry Lulupin City was amazing and on tap a couple of days ago … I’m sure Orange will be even better.  But, as you see in the first sentence of this write-up, I might be biased.

You might be thinking, “What is Lulupin?”

Typically, hops are harvested and then pelletized to preserve their character and make them easier to transport in large quantities. Lupulin powder, on the other hand, is the result of a “proprietary cryogenic separation process” dreamt up by Washington hop producer Yakima Chief-Hopunion.
