This year’s event will be held at the larger Jordan Block in Downtown Ottawa, IL
Tickets are available for the Starved Rock Country Brew Fest, which will be taking place on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Tickets can be purchased online at StarvedRockCountryBrewFest.com. The festival will feature over 30 breweries serving over 60 unique beers combined.
“It is so important to celebrate great local & regional craft beer in Starved Rock Country!” stated Scott Struchen, Chief Commercial Officer of Tangled Roots Brewing Company (the primary corporate sponsor of the event. “Come and “Embrace Your Nature” in beautiful river country.”
Tickets are already on sale, with current sales already surpassing last year’s attendance. The extremely popular festival will now take place on the Jordan Block (101 W. Main Street). The Jordan Block is the same area where other popular events like the Midwest Morel Festival and the Ottawa 2 Rivers Wine Fest are held. One of the reasons for the change was based on feedback from previous attendees, the grassy Jordan Block will provide cooler temperatures than the asphalt Downtown River Lot.
Music will be provided by Sean Patrick Walsh (performing from 12 – 2 pm) and Cat Man Dog (performing from 2:30 – 5 pm). 2019’s fest will also see a record number of food vendors available which will be serving BBQ, hot dogs and brats, donuts and the popular pretzel necklaces.
General admission tickets are currently $30 per person, which includes entrance into the festival, beer sampling tickets, a commemorative festival glass, and the opportunity to listen to great music. Ticket prices will increase to $35 per person on April 26 and will increase to $40 per person on the day of the event.
Designated driver tickets are $10 per person, which include entrance into the festival, complimentary soda & water, and the chance to listen to the same great music.
The event is produced by Lou Dog Events, producer of many of the top craft beer festivals throughout the Chicagoland area. Their credits include the Chicago Beer Classic (Soldier Field), Chicago Ale Fest – Summer (Butler Field), Chicago Ale Fest – Winter (Lacuna Artist Lofts), and the Naperville Ale Fest (Frontier Park).
